my coworker has a daughter that is my daughter's age...

she approached me back in june about doing a shoot with her daughter & her trumpet
(and her flute)

i had this vision in my head
of a girl in rolled up jeans
a vest
and a hat

we almost got it!

then we found a small river (creek?) that ran beside the location we were out
and played in the water a bit

i just HAD to increase the saturation just a tad bit to bring out the awesome
colors in the silly bandz & chuck taylors!

august wanted to have a picture taken like louis armstrong
