I was asked by a favorite friend of mine if I'd come back and shoot some more pictures of their precious baby. I was SO excited!! I brought along my girls' blessing gown they wore when they were babies, so I was thrilled to get some pictures of it as well!

She was truly the happiest baby ever. And full of lots of dribble on her chin... :)

Might be a *little* out of focus, but it just captures her sweetness so perfectly!

Since Daddy missed out on the first session, he was a big figure on this session.
This is my favorite picture of them together.

I've been wanting to do a project or two of my girls using art canvas, but I just couldn't find THE picture that I've been wanting to use of my girls!

So I shuttled them outside for a quick 5 minute shoot, and I came up with these two adorable pictures.

my coworker has a daughter that is my daughter's age...

she approached me back in june about doing a shoot with her daughter & her trumpet
(and her flute)

i had this vision in my head
of a girl in rolled up jeans
a vest
and a hat

we almost got it!

then we found a small river (creek?) that ran beside the location we were out
and played in the water a bit

i just HAD to increase the saturation just a tad bit to bring out the awesome
colors in the silly bandz & chuck taylors!

A dear friend of mine surprised all of us when she announced she & her husband adopted a baby!

No.one.KNEW!

ALL of her friends were beyond excited for this wonderful couple.

I was just so excited when she emailed me asking if I could take pictures of this beautiful baby.

Of course, I said "YES!!"

My sweetie bought these for me for Mother's Day

I think this batch turned out to be one of the best roses I have ever received...

they opened just perfectly and beautifully

I love to trim my roses down pretty short, and put it in a milk bowl? gravy bowl?
Whatever it is... it's my favorite!

I actually shot this w/ my point & shoot almost 2 years ago.
The expression on Maddie's face was just pure happiness.
It was the very first time she had seen the beach.
Love.at.first.sight!
